How do I view and/or reply to my enquiries?

You can view your enquiries by clicking the "Enquiries" link directly from the purple toolbar - to the left on desktops or using the menu button on mobiles/tablets.

This will show your enquiry inbox which lists all of your enquiries. Simply click the enquiry to view the full message. To reply, simply enter your comment into the "Write a reply" textbox and then click "Send Reply".

We will then email the potential customer with your message and allow them to reply directly back to your inbox via email.

Under the customers enquiry text, you will see the enquiry information that the enquirier wrote. This can include the number of adults/children in the booking, the number of Dogs (if dogs are permitted), the dates they are looking to book, their email address and their telephone number if the chose to enter it, and their address.

We suggest using the UKChalets reply form to send email replies instead of contacting the customer directly, as it allows you to record a "conversation" of messages between you and them.

How do I turn an enquiry into a booking?

We have provided the option of turning an enquiry into a booking in a single click.

Whilst viewing an enquiry, you can click "Create Booking" button at the top of the page.

This uses the information provided by the enquirer to create a new booking record - such as the booking dates.

Your will be redirected to the "Add Booking" screen, with the enquirers information prefilled.

Adjust or update any options you wish to change, then click "Save Booking" to add the booking.

How do I mark an enquiry as read or unread?

Enquiries are automatically marked as read once you have viewed them.

You can revert it back to unread by selecting, and checking the box on the chosen enquiry from the enquiry list, then clicking the "Mark as Unread" button at the top of the page.

You can also mark the enquiry as unread while viewing it by clicking the "Mark as Unread" button at the top of the page.

How do I delete enquiries?

You can delete an enquiry by selecting, and checking the box on the chosen enquiry from the enquiry list, then clicking the "Delete" button at the top of the page.

You can also delete the enquiry while viewing it by clicking the "Delete" button at the top of the page.

How do I search for a specific enquiry?

From the "Enquiries" page, you can enter your search term(s) and hit enter. The page will then be reloaded with your search results.

To cancel a search, click the  next to the search box.
