We look forward to welcoming you as our special guest to our cosy early 19th century cottage in the beautiful East Neuk (corner) of Fife. Westbourne Cottage, which forms part of Westbourne House, is situated in the pretty conservation village of Kilrenny close to the coastal town of Anstruther. It provides beautifully refurbished self-contained accommodation for 1 or 2 people. High quality furnishings, decor and equipment combine modern living with old-world comfort and charm. Kilrenny is a short distance from the heritage fishing port of Anstruther and only 7 miles from the stunning historic golf and university town of St Andrews.
Your accommodation comprises: a double-bedded bedroom en suite with bath and shower, walk-in wardrobe and high quality furnishings, fittings and equipment. Your sitting room/kitchenette has a fully fitted kitchen with all facilities (except washing machine), dining area, comfortable seating, a log burning stove (logs provided) and central heating. An additional bathroom is accessed off the entrance hall. Your bedroom has direct access to the private garden and there is a separate porch and entrance hallway. Everything is provided and towels, bed linen, logs and electricity are all included in the price. There are a variety of good pubs and restaurants close by and a wider choice in St Andrews. Parking is on-street (free) just outside our garden gate.
Kilrenny is a charming little conservation village - perfect for a relaxing, peaceful and quiet short break or longer holiday; and as a base for exploring the local area or further afield on foot, bike, car or bus.
There are a number of attractive country and coastal walks and beaches which you can access directly from our house. In the immediate locality are the beautiful fishing towns and villages of the East Neuk of Fife each with their own charm and character. Closest to Kilrenny are Cellardyke and Anstruther – which you can walk or cycle to in a few minutes.
