The Old Stable is (as the name suggests) a stable converted into a studio apartment. Set in the secluded gardens of Lyon Court.



The Old Stable has its own discrete south facing patio with private hot tub (available from late May bank holiday weekend to the last week of September.) The kitchen is fully equipped with a full sized oven and hob, a vintage Bosch fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, with ample cupboard space, pots, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. The living area is well designed for a couple, with a comfy sofa, a double bed and a table for 2. There is also a small TV with integral DVD player.

A cot can also be accommodated if you really can't get away on your own!

With regard to accessibility, you can park on the same level as the Old Stable and there are no steps at all.

Features & Facilities

When booking with us, you will have access to all of the facilities at Lyon Court including a large, heated outdoor pool, a sauna, (both from May until September), your own private terrace with hot tub May to September), on site launderette and extensive landscaped gardens with communal campfire. Parking for 1 car is included in the price. We may be able to accommodate further cars for an additional fee. Details on request.

Booking Terms & Rules

Apartments must not be occupied by more people than stated in our apartment descriptions, without prior consent. 

Apartments are cleaned before you move in and you are expected to leave the apartment in a clean and tidy condition. We may make a charge to cover excessive cleaning costs. 

The person making the booking is deemed to act as agent for all the other members of the party and to accept these conditions on their behalf and agrees to be responsible for any damage or loss caused by any of the party to our own property or any other loss. 

A security deposit is retained to cover any damage or loss caused by any of the party. However, should the loss exceed the deposit held, we reserve the right to pursue the person making the booking for the full amount of the loss. 

We believe the information is correct at the time of going to press. We cannot be held responsible for changes beyond our control. 

The price includes heating, electricity, water & bed linen. Also cots and high chairs if required. Towel sets are available for a charge – please see booking form. 

Cot bedding is not included and we do not supply it at all. Therefore, please bring your own cot bedding. 

A deposit is required on receipt of the booking form. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to the commencing date. 

In the event of cancellation the full amount is payable. However, if we are able to re-let the accommodation, we may at our discretion refund the cost of the stay, less £150 administration charge and any loss of income. 

Apartments are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Early arrivals may leave their cars in the car park. 

We regret smoking is not allowed in the apartments or in the pool area, although you are welcome to smoke in the grounds well away from the apartments. 

Lyon Court and its facilities are only for use by our Guests. Guests of guests are not permitted without our prior consent. 

We are sorry but we are not able to accept pets under any circumstances.
