‘Gannet’ is an attractive, comfortable, self catering, second floor apartment with views across tennis courts to Penzance promenade. The apartment has reserved parking, a balcony with a sea view to St Michael’s Mount, central heating and wifi.

There is a good size open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. The balcony is off the lounge area, which has a Smart TV, DVD recorder and portable radio/CD player. The kitchen has a large fridge freezer, washer drier, dishwasher, oven, gas hob and microwave.

‘Gannet’ has a double bedroom, with a walk in wardrobe and TV, and a single bedroom. Pillows and duvets are provided and the beds are made up for your arrival. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower. Towels and hair drier are provided.

There is a small, shared, sheltered, outside terrace/BBQ area, together with a lockable storage space for surfboard etc.

The apartment is very well situated for those reliant on public transport.

Penzance sits in a sheltered south facing location on the shores of Mount’s Bay, only 10 miles from Land’s End. It is the main centre for west Cornwall and has direct rail links to London, the north of England and Scotland.

Penzance has an interesting town centre with number of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

From ‘Gannet’ it is an easy walk along the sea front in either direction. Head west along Newlyn Green to Newlyn and then on to Mousehole, or east along the promenade, past the iconic art deco Jubilee pool, to the harbour. Fishing and pleasure boats depart from Penzance harbour, as does the Scillonian III, the ferry to the Isles of Scilly.

It is a level walk along the coastal footpath all the way to Marazion, where you can walk, or take the ferry (depending on the tide) across to St. Michael’s Mount.

Booking Terms & Rules

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance being due 3 weeks prior to your stay. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer to our account (details on request).

Bookings commence at 2pm on the day of arrival and finish at 10:00 on the day of departure
